Have you ever like someone you don’t know? Or have you ever been in a situation where you and the other person liked each other so much but afraid to tell to each other? Ya, everybody had this once; so relax. Nothing is wrong with you. Let’s talk about flirting which usually happen among the youth.

Simply, flirting is sending a message that communicate sexual or romantic interest in another person. It usually involves speaking and behaving in a way that suggests a mildly greater intimacy   than the actual relationship between the parties would justify.

Flirting: Do’s and Don’ts

Do’s

  • Be yourself. You don’t need to pretend to be someone else
  • Be respectful and kind
  • Pay attention to the other person’s reactions.
  • Stop if the other person seems uncomfortable or uninterested.
  • Respect boundaries at all times
  • Keep it light and friendly.

Don’ts

  • Don’t pressure someone to respond or flirt back.
  • Don’t use rude, sexual, or insulting words
  • Don’t continue if the person says NO or looks uncomfortable.
  • Don't force conversations
  • Don’t touch someone without their consent.
  • Don’t share private messages or pictures without permission.
