Platform information

Privacy policy

This policy explains what information Yenetab handles and the choices available to you.

Draft policy. The Ministry of Health and its partners may update this text after legal and programme review.

Information Yenetab handles

Yenetab handles information you provide when you create or sign in to an account and complete a learning profile. This may include an account identifier, preferred language, age range, and gender selection. The hosting, authentication, database, and analytics services used by the site may also process technical information needed to deliver and protect the service, such as browser, device, network, and activity data.

How information is used

Information is used to provide the site, authenticate accounts, save learning progress, show content in the selected language, maintain security, diagnose failures, and understand whether the service works as intended. Yenetab should not request personal information that is not needed for an active feature.

When information is shared

Information may be processed by service providers that host the application, manage sign-in, store application data, or provide operational analytics. It may also be disclosed when required by applicable law or needed to protect users and the service. Yenetab does not sell personal information.

How long information is kept

Account and learning information should be kept only while it is needed to provide the service, meet legal duties, resolve disputes, or protect the platform. Final retention periods still require programme and legal approval and will replace this draft when confirmed.

Your choices

You can browse public learning content without completing optional profile fields. You can choose whether to create an account and which language to use. Contact Yenetab support if you want to ask about information connected to your account or request a correction or deletion, subject to applicable requirements.

Young users

Yenetab is designed for young people, so privacy and safety require extra care. Minimum age rules, guardian consent requirements, and the process for handling a young person's request still require formal approval. Until those rules are published, do not provide personal information through a feature you do not understand.

Changes and questions

This policy may change when Yenetab adds features, changes service providers, or receives updated legal guidance. The published page should show material updates.
