- Boys may copy friends’ behavior, even when it doesn’t feel right.
- Choosing positive friends helps reduce negative peer pressure.
Increased Desire for Independence
- As you grow, you want more control over your life.
- You may want to spend more time with friends or by yourself than with your parents.
- Strong feelings can lead to quick decisions.
- Be careful not to make serious choices you may regret later.
